Aphrodite Jones is a woman that frequently and strongly supported the prosecution during the Michael Jackson trial in 2005.

She - like many of the reporters around the world - was intent on portraying Michael Jackson as a guilty man, without ever fully reporting the facts of BOTH SIDES of the case, or even examining both sides herself. This was a policy inflicted on journalists by the powers that be in the media agencies, something that has been largely ignored. After the trial, she began to realise the mistake she made by following the pack mentality of the media and has written this book to show the wider public the truth. She is going against the ideals of her former emplyer 'Fox News' and the will of the publishing business model. This book describes exactly what went on in the court room and explains the facts of the case using quotes from actual court transcripts. She has first hand knowledge of the evidence used (such as Michael Jackson's video testimony) and uses it to full effect. The book describes just how many times prosecutions witnesses lied and contradicted themselves on the stand - lies and contradictions that were proven to be so by the defense. The book shows how the charges were masterminded by a woman (the mother of the accuser) that has already commited welfare fraud - a crime she is currently serving time for - and conned celebrites, charities, department stores, and police departments out of thousands of dollars over a period of years. She even contacted lawyers about suing Michael Jackson before she had ever met him!! I don't want to ruin the book for you so I'll leave it there. Needless to say this book is a revalation and is a refreshing change to the biased, opinionated and substantially untrue reports about the case that were reported by the general media. If you want to find out about the real goings on in the trial, then buy this book.
